Five stores, their return terms.

Read this first: we offer selection help ourselves. Leadbelt Build Desk is not a neutral reviewer and wants people to contact us. We name each source and its date so you can check every point. No store paid us or saw this page first, we earn nothing from them and we do not link to them.

BStore by store

We do not rank these stores or name a best one. The right choice depends on the product, the seller and what you need. We report returns because most people read them last.

NeweggOnline electronics and PC parts

Reported terms
Reported standard window of 30 days from the invoice date for most hardware, with a 14-day price-match refund as store credit on items carrying a “Price Match Guarantee” badge.
Watch for
Reported restocking fees of 15% to 30% (sometimes more) on opened, non-defective items. Items “Sold and Shipped by” a third-party seller follow that seller’s own policy. The source is internally inconsistent on custom PCs, so check before ordering one.

Micro CenterStore chain and online

AmazonGeneral online retailer

Reported terms
For most items sold and fulfilled by Amazon, 30 days after delivery; Apple products 15 days.
Watch for
Third-party sellers can set stricter terms, charge restocking fees and require you to pay return shipping. Check the “Sold by” and “Fulfilled by” labels.

CReading any store’s terms

  1. Look for the seller name on the product page; “sold by” may not be the store.
  2. Find out when the clock starts: purchase, invoice or delivery.
  3. Ask whether opened items carry a restocking fee.
  4. Keep boxes and packaging until you are sure you are keeping it.

DWhere we come in

This page cannot say whether we will find you a better deal. What we can do is shortlist products for your use, check that parts fit and lay the terms side by side. Ask for a callback and we will explain exactly what that involves.
